PSA - Judith D is for sale at the gunsmith (Destiny)

If you want to try the Desert Eagle of Destiny Hand Cannons, pick one up.

Highest impact + range equivalent to Eysaluna or Imago Loop, - the low rate of fire, means that you should have no missing bullets at all, and can optionally go for a Reactive Reload/Crowd Control combo to stack damage and get 2 shot kills.

thanks for the heads up!! Most appreciated.

The gunsmith has a good selection of weapons across the tiers, so even though many are not best in class they can get close enough for government work.

PVP BiC class weapons are:

Arminius D
Thesan FR4
Suros DIS 47
Suros PDX 45

All of these are similar archetypes to the top tier PVP weapons and boast similar perk sets and stats. For example the difference between a Arminius D and a Soul Stealers Claw is minimal in practical terms. The Thesan with good rolls is one of the current top tier fusion rifles.

Runners up are:

Uffern HC4
Cyocutus
Eirene
Suros JLB-42/47

These are good weapons, but have a substandard stat or perk set up vs. other options in game. For example the Eirene has the same impact as 1KS, but lower aim assist. The Uffern has lower range then Imago loop.

PVE fun weapons are:

Judith "My love for you is like a truck" D, who's low ROF is the only reason it's not on top in PVP. In PVE, it can do serious damage to unlucky majors with minimal exposure.

Aofie "Continuous Fire" Rua. I had one of these with outlaw and appended mag, and it could lay down numerous constant fire. Sadly it was out classed by 1KS which didn't run out of ammo nearly as fast.

Great gun for pve, too slow for pvp.

Just in case anyone was wondering. I had a disgusting roll of crowd control and feeding frenzy which made this a pve death-dealing machine, but in pvp it fires too slowly to compete even when landing all of your shots, and if you miss at all you're really screwed. Double 92 damage crits gets you so close, but I'd rather have a gun that lands 3 70 damage shots in the same amount of time.

All in all, this gun is sort of a First Curse "light". If you like the first curse but your exotic slot is otherwise occupied, Judith-D is a great fill in.

Do we know why it is named Judith?

Probably after Judith.

Judith from the Septuagint and the relatively famous poem, Judith. The poem is very highly regarded, despite us only having the last quarter. She was the archetypal medieval heroine.
