Did something happen yesterday to give us random Glory ranking?

I went to bed last night at 172/200 on the Guardian (bottom-most) level.

As far as I can tell, nobody played on my account - and my last Competitive game was 8 days ago.

Today, I'm 12/850 on the Brave level. (That is: I somehow increased by 40 points today, despite not actually playing.)

...Huh?

Yeah, I once logged in and there was a message on the main screen that said something to the affect of "You have worked hard in the crucible and we are recognizing that, you should get the glory you deserve."

I think they had a hiccup in how glory worked and they corrected it. Either way, free glory.

Had to log in to check, but luckily my Glory rank is right where I left it...at zero points.

If you play enough games each week, you are awarded bonus glory at the reset.

Okay, cool, that makes sense, except that... the last game I played was last Wednesday, and the reset was more than 48 hours ago.
