Nothing really new to say.

Just . . .

Damn. Destiny 2 is so goddamn good right now. I have fun every single time I play now (even when I'm getting curb-stomped in Gambit).

I've found a new love for the Blind Well. I ran with a group of blueberries tonight--four of us just kept crushing Tier 4s for nearly two hours. It was fun enough that I kept playing long after I completed my Weekly bounty and my Purification Ritual. It's just the right amount of engagement for a late night session of constantly shooting aliens.

It has me really hopeful for whatever the new 6 person activity is. I hope it's something like Escalation Protocol and Blind Well. What little I've seen of the Forge seems awesome, but running into a group of randos and packing an instance full of blueberries to tackle the big public event type thing is actually really special, I think. It's just cool that it actually works.

Same. I'm really digging Destiny 2 right now. Feels like a world with large moving parts, when I heard a new forge opened up after the raid I really liked that. Makes the world feel "alive". Forsaken was a leap forward, and Black Armory is meant to complement that leap.

I haven't done much of the Black Armory stuff. My only real sort of disappointment with that is lack of context. The thing that makes the Dreaming City and Last Wish and Shattered Throne and the weekly cycle so neat is how it all fits together, the context of all those things working together and being intertwined. I don't really feel that with the Forges and Black Armory. Maybe there is more once I beat the first Forge and dig in more, but I wish there was more initial set up, even. What the Forges even are basically gets glossed over.

The seem like fun activities, which is what ultimately matters for me, but the Dreaming City is the pinnacle of every aspect of Destiny working in concert to make an amazing experience, and that's really what I want to see more of.

There is definitely more context as you get farther into it. Not on the same level as the Dreaming City. It feels more in line with The Taken War questlines than anything, personally. And there are definitely more secrets to find.

Still learning things:

I did not know this, but, apparently, Wanted Lost Sector bosses have specific loot drops tied to them.

I've been looking to put together a Scatterhorn set for my Hunter with good perks, and this will make farming them much easier.
