Random Unqualified Design Idea

Once a Fireteam has made it to the Lighthouse, they can no longer play as a Fireteam in Trials that weekend. Lets the highest light level/skilled players get their weekly shiny armor and lets lower light level/skill players have the bar lower throughout the weekend. Encourages early completion. Could even make it more strict and have it be that any Guardian who reaches the Lighthouse can't play in Trials anymore that weekend.

IDK, weird idea.

As someone who legitimately might never make it to the Lighthouse, I hate that idea. Let people play what they want to play. Bungie needs to be less restrictive in how they let people play Destiny, not more.

Well....power levels have been active in Trials since before the game even released. So has Iron Banner. It’s crappy, but it can’t possibly be new to anyone here.
