I got two things from that video:
1) I'd thought a while back that Destiny is the perfect kind of game to be able to create custom, one-of-a-kind items for players in the community who do something special to catch Bungie's eye. Special Orders answers that question for me.
2) There are apparently five levels of weapons -- Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and Exotic. For some reason I'd been thinking there were only four.

I notice he mentioned that in the lowest level by the Shipwright that the vendors aren't populated yet. If you look above the desk down there you can see alien weapons hanging. Vendors may sell alien weapons in final game?

That's what I was wondering. I thought it weird that area wasn't being used by a vendor. I would like to have a sniper like some vandals use.
