I disagree, what is it that makes you say that? To me it has a cyclopean quality which fits the Vex design appropriately.

It doesn't have a central eye, the whole head is one glowing unit. It does not have a head crest or chest orb, and is not a biped but has multiple leg things floating about. The guns are multi-barrel gatling style weapons that don't seem consistent with the future style of the Vex weapons seen so far. No vex so far has back fins.

Looks pretty Vex-ish to me. Central eye is there, the surround has a similar shape to the crest. As for the rest I don't personally see them as being at a remove from what's been shown of the Vex so far, but I see how you can take it differently.

small critique: for being a video to showcase an environment, I wish the video would have actually highlighted the environment just a bit more. I felt that by halfway through the video all we all we were seeing was Guardians doing super stuff. I think I'm looking forward to exploring Venus the most out of all the areas so far (mostly due to the color palette and architecture), so don't get me wrong I enjoyed the video. But I felt that it could have been paced better.
More for us to discover come 9/9!

Same here, of the competitive maps available in the beta, I found Venus to be the most fascinating. Can't wait to explore that planet.
