Yep, slow week

Not sure where all the admins are these days - but I'd like to personally apologize for a lack of interesting stuff to look at this week. To make it up to you, here are three sketches done by redditor Alt_Historian - I thought they were fun! (You can provide feedback in this reddit thread.)

A Darker Version of Destiny

Over at reddit, DeviantARTist Fenris31 posted some Destiny fanart - his own take on the Hunter class, and even a Medic. Fun stuff!

Yeah, the box is better than the contents.

So if your mom was an artist at Bungie, would you have the coolest stuff on the planet? Well, duh. Lorraine McLees painted up a couple of gift boxes for her boys - Recon Number 54 did a fantastic job documenting the process for the box that has Halo art on it, but the second box has a gorgeous Destiny Hunter, and has had minimal exposure. These two composite pics were posted on Lorraine's Facebook feed, but they were only visible to friends, so we're making them more widely accessible (with her permission, of course). Check 'em out - click for larger (and more complete) versions!

Somehow this got lost in the weekend shuffle, but the Destiny Dispatch crew finally released their fan fiction collection "Become Legend" for download. The eBook is packed with 21 community-written stories interspersed with some awesome fan art from a few names you might be familiar with. Hot on the heels of Thursday's wallpaper, Firestream has posted another piece from his "Relics of Destiny" project. That headdress would be a great piece of gear to find in a loot drop!
