DeeJ was in France in late June, for IDEF (Interactive and Digital Entertainment Festival), and answered a bunch of questions - GamerGen was there, and filmed it. The questions are written in French, on the screen, but DeeJ does a pretty nice job of making his answers self-enclosed. Go listen!
The sonyplaystation channel on YouTube has posted 'Everything you need to know about the Destiny Beta' - watch it for a quick summary of what's coming, provided by Bungie employees. Just remember: the Beta starts this summer! (Thanks for that, DeeJ.)
Eurogamer sat down with DeeJ to suss out what's coming in the Beta - there's some fascinating info in there, so be sure to read it before you start playing! Thanks to Xenos for letting us know!
There is a new Crucible map on display at IGN - this one is called 'Blind Watch', and is set on Mars. The Lars Bakken-narrated walkthrough is embedded below (thanks, petetheduck), but you can also see gameplay linked on the IGN page describing this map. Study these well, and you'll be prepared for battle when the Beta begins!
roland stopped in to announce that Guardian Radio Episode 67 is now online, in a variety of formats. They've got a new staff member, Fenix, and he was present during this 'cast. Discussion focused on the latest Bungie Weekly Update offerings, though as always there's additional fun. Go listen!
The whole dancing in Destiny thing is looked at by IGN (video below, but it's the writeup that's full of good info). Go see what it's all about! DaDerga pointed this out on our forum yesterday, but hey, it's summer.
The image editing contest we ran a week ago came to a close on Monday night - but the week's been so insane that I didn't get a chance to post the winners until now. Congrats to tareheart, Ibeechu, and Schedonnardus! (I don't seem to have any way to reach Ibeechu, so hopefully he'll see this and send me details about where I can send his shirt.) Congratulations, as well, to ZackDark, who would have won, but couldn't accept the international mail without a real headache. Thanks to everyone who participated (you can scroll through the submission thread if you haven't seen all the entries), and keep your eyes open for the next DBO contest!
That Sussman guy is everywhere today! Looks like Jason Sussman sat down with The Escapist, too - it's a 10-minute video interview in which Jason hints at the depths of the environments we'll be exploring. It's a fascinating talk - go catch up on the tidbits you might have missed over the last couple of weeks!
The Guardians of Destiny got together again last night, and recorded Episode 66 of their Guardian Radio podcast - swing by to hear all the discussion about the E3 reveals, the lowdown on the Playstation Exclusive content, the speculation about how it's all going to come together! (There's also a pretty funny little radio promo.) Thanks, as always, to roland, for keeping us in-the-know. (Multiple link options in his forum post.)
Pete Parsons spent a few minutes with GamesIndustry.biz at E3, discussing where Destiny came from, and where it's going. It's hard to read his answers and not feel his enthusiasm for the title. Go see! Thanks again, DaDerga.
Jason Sussman discussed Half-Life 3 (and maybe a little Destiny) with the folks at GameZone - it's a great read! Swing by for info about the philosophy of a public Alpha, how Halo figures into things, and how Destiny's persistent world will work (among other things). Thanks, DaDerga.
djtanng came by with a nice little treat - by entering the final boss fight on the Devil's Lair strike in the Alpha, and then LEAVING the fight to the other two Guardians, he was able to record the music that plays during the fight with no ambient sound to disturb the performance. Great for us, not so great for those other two Guardians...
Shacknews had some fun with in-game emotes during the Alpha. I feel all warm and tingly now.
Angry Joe got some alone time with DeeJ at E3 this year - and asked a whole bunch of questions. Go see what he learned!
roland told us about the latest goodies from Guardian Radio - there's Episode 65 of their podcast, which is pretty interesting, all on its own... but there are also a whole passel of bonus videos, based on the crew's time at E3. (They were working the Bungie booth, helping fans and showgoers acclimate to the multiplayer content being shown off - they have some great stories to tell!) Check out the forum post for all the links.
kidtsunami noticed a Tweet from Mack MacDonald (Director at 8-4 Ltd., previously at Ziff Davis) that suggests that Destiny will be exclusive to Sony platforms (Playstation 3 and 4) in Japan - no Xbox versions at all. Whoa.
Interesting move from Sony / Activision @kazamatsuri: Destiny is exclusive to PlayStation 3 & PlayStation 4 in Japan. http://t.co/m2lnWExDLX

If you didn't get a chance to play the Destiny Alpha (or even if you did!), several fans on our site have taken the time to write up their experiences, often including lots of screenshots. You can swing by and explore the perspectives:
While you're exploring personal opinions and screens, you might also want to poke your head into the Grimoire thread; it gives you a glimpse of some of the wealth of content you'll find outside the gameplay itself. Fascinating reading!
Ragashingo took a closer look at the beginning of the E3 Experience Trailer and posted a write-up in the forum. Go check it out and add your two cents!
Check this out - posted on the DestinyTheGame instagram feed. Thanks, GrimBrother III.
