Bungie's update this week reminds you that there's a Sandbox update coming next Tuesday - if you missed yesterday's Twitch stream on it, you can watch an archived version right from the update. There are also notes from the Player Support team, giving you a heads-up about issues that might arise. Finally, there are the standard trio of fan-created videos for your entertainment. Go read! (Our local version is up too, as it should be.)
It's a light update from Bungie this week - you can find info about the upcoming Sandbox update (including where to watch a stream about it next week), some details from the Destiny Support team, and the standard fan videos. Go read it - shouldn't take too long! (It's also available locally, if you so choose.)
The latest update from Bungie (also available in our archive) has a little bit about the next patch, coming in February, along with the standard status report from the Player Support team, and some really fun fan vids. Go read!
Yesterday was Thursday, so there was (as on most Thursdays) an update from Bungie, on the state of Destiny today. It contains some teasers about an upcoming content update, a warning for cheaters, and more info about Bungie Bounty Days (first mentioned in last week's update), along with standard TWAB features like an update from the support team and fan-created videos. Go read! We have a local copy, as we usually do, if you're looking for specifics. (We should also mention that our Patch Note Archive was updated earlier this week, with notes from the 22.214.171.124 update that dropped on Tuesday.)
Bungie's back from break - go check out the update! Highlights include info about next week's Iron Banner (Clash, with Sidearms and Rocket Launchers predominating), new info about Bungie Bounty Days, good stuff from the Support team, and fan-generated vids! Read all about it. (Also in our archive, if you need it.)
We posted it in our Weekly Update Archive yesterday, but we're just getting around to telling you about the newest summary (This Year, not just This Week) at Bungie.net now. It's not really a look back at 2016... but it's definitely worth a read. There are two pieces of Dawning-related music to download, a reminder about a spotlight on the Localization team you might have missed a few days ago, notes from the Support team, and fan-created videos, along with nice Holiday wishes from DeeJ. Go check it out!
You'll want to swing by and read this week's update from Bungie (either on Bungie.net or here in our own update archive); it's chock-full of juicy info. Next week The Dawning kicks off, and you'll have 3 weeks to get your fill of Sparrow racing before it goes away again. (Next Wednesday, Bungie will take on Rooster Teeth in a televised SRL-based Bungie Bounty.) Also in the update: new gear available during the event (pretty fun stuff!), a detailed preview of some of the changes coming in the update, and the standard stuff (player support, fan videos). Speaking of fan videos - the Movie of the Week is jaw-dropping. I'm almost embarrassed by the complaining I've done in the past about Bungie's Raid-based jumping puzzles; Epicookiez shows that they're so easy, you can do them on a Sparrow! You gotta watch.
Ready for another Iron Banner? It's coming next week (and you'll be playing Rift). Goodies to be given out, along with the rest of the week's Destiny highlights, can be found in this week's update from Bungie (also available in our Update Archive). Go read it!
It's Turkey Week in the US, and Bungie tells you what it's thankful for. Go read (either on Bungie.net or in our local archive)... and if you're celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow, enjoy the time with family and friends! (If you're not celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow, you should still enjoy time with family and friends. You just won't be doing it over a plate of turkey and mashed potatoes, probably.)
Bungie's weekly roundup of happenings was posted yesterday, as is standard for them - give it a read! It contains an archive of the Bungie "Raid" Along that took place earlier this week (a fascinating look at the Wrath of the Machine raid), along with a bunch of information about how matchmaking works in Destiny. (This information is being absorbed... with reservations, by the community. The thing to remember is, your personal experience is NOT necessarily representative of the average experience.) Standard inclusions, like support team notes and fan-created videos, are also available, and our local version is online, as well. Check it out!
It's Thursday, so it's time for Bungie to let us know what's going on - this week is no exception. There's a fantastic summary of how the rewards allocations have changed for Iron Banner (more goodies for everyone!), there's a preview of a new feature showing off streamer content, there's a teaser for an upcoming Ride-Along that will delve into the newest Raid, and there are the ever-present (and ever-useful) features like support comments and fan videos. Go read it! (As usual, you can see it in our Weekly Update Archive, if you choose.)
This week's update out of Bungie is focused on three things: next week's Iron Banner, a reminder of the new Challenge Mode in the Raid, and some winners of the Festival of the Lost's Masquerade Ball. (There are also standard bits, like a report from the support team and fan movies... but those should go without saying.) Check it out on Bungie.net - or in our own Update Archive!
Yesterday, Bungie posted its latest info drop about Destiny - it contains lots of fun reading. There's an emblem giveaway, related to the Festival of the Lost, that you can get in on. There's a warning for cheaters playing Trials of Osiris. There's info from the support team, including current and solved problems. And there are some fun fan videos. You can read this on Bungie.net, or you can read it in our own Update Archive. But read it!
Sometimes, when someone goes on vacation, everyone goes on vacation. Last week's update from Bungie came and went without a mention on the front page, and for that I'm sorry. It's a pretty good read, even - there's an interview with the team that beat the Hard raid first, there are previews of upcoming ornaments you'll be able to snag during the Festival of the Lost (more info in another newspost), there are currently known (and recently resolved) issues in the Rise of Iron release, and there are a bunch of fan videos. Go read! We have a copy locally, as usual.
Yes, I know, the top of the page says "October 13" - but that's not when it was released. Bungie postponed this week's info drop by about 12 hours to double-check a few things - if you haven't read it yet (it came out yesterday), you should absolutely do so. (We have a local copy, of course - it was posted yesterday, even if we forgot to mention it here on the front page.) The big news focuses on the changes coming in the week ahead - on Tuesday, 2.4.1 will drop. This is a new update to enable Hard Mode on the raid, with a bunch of changes that will affect all players, not just raiders. There's also a nice summary of current high-priority issues affecting players from the support team, and some really fun movies in the Movie of the Week section. Go check it all out!
If you're reading this, you probably know that the Iron Banner is back - and it's full of Crests. Swing by Bungie.net (or our own Weekly Update Archive) for the latest 'This Week At Bungie' report, which reminds you about IB, and then goes on with some pretty fascinating news - the Hard mode Raid will unlock on October 18 (a week from this coming Tuesday). Between now and then is another Bungie Bounty event - this one's on the Playstation 4, and will take place next Wednesday (October 12), at 10am Pacific. Be there or be... um, all the shapes on the Shock Controller buttons. As always, there's a report from the Support team, and some pretty cool fan-created movies. (The two-man raid segment run is amazing.) Go read!
The weekly update has been posted at Bungie.net - It's got a ton of interesting stuff! Trials of Osiris is back this weekend, and Iron Banner returns next week. There are also a list of known issues in the game (worth reading), a tally of the fastest teams to finish the new raid, and some fan-created movies. (The last one appears to have been filmed during the Raid - if you're still blind, hold off on that one.) As always, you can find a local copy in our update archive.
We neglected to mention the weekly update Bungie dropped yesterday - but you should go read it, if you haven't already. Not surprisingly, it focuses on Rise of Iron. (The Raid drops today!) There's some super-cool concept art, a list of support issues still on the table (or resolved), and some fun fan videos. As always, there's a local version if you need it.
This was posted on Bungie.net (and localized) yesterday, but hey, it was a busy afternoon. This week's update talks about the Rise of Iron soundtrack (coming soon to a Bungie Store near you), recaps the update info we posted yesterday, summarizes the new Achievements/Trophies coming in Rise of Iron, lists some known issues with the new update, and covers the staples we see every week (Challenge high scores, fan videos). Man... that last video... I think I might have rage quit if I'd been on the other team. Anyway, go read! Good stuff.
It's time for PAX, and the weekly update from Bungie reflects that fact! Community meetups, a local Rumble tournament, special shwag... the weekend is full. If you're not in Seattle, don't worry - there's news about other stuff, too. A Private Match livestream from MLG is happening soon. Bungie commissioned a pretty amazing axe, and there's a video showing how it was made. Tips, as always, are available from the Player Support team. Scores for the top Challenge of Elders players are available for perusal. Videos from fans are included. And images from last week's DestinyCon have been added in. All in all, a full update! There's a local version, as you might expect.
This Week At Bungie, the regular collection of "things you should be paying attention to" Bungie posts every week, was released yesterday, as is usual for a Thursday. Check it out - it contains a couple of really cool sections. The first one details some of the shwag you'll be able to buy if you're lucky enough to be coming to PAX next week... while the second shows off some fantastic Rise of Iron artwork. (There's plenty of other stuff, too - help tips from the support team, top scores in Challenge of Elders, fan videos... you know.) Go give it a read! We've got a local copy, as well.
Whoops. Localized this yesterday, but forgot to actually mention it. Bungie's latest informational update is live - it contains some of the biggest info bits revealed at Gamescom this week (Private Matches in Rise of Iron, the new ViDoc, the Livestream), plus some extra fun stuff you may have missed if you don't follow Bungie on Twitter. Oh... and the movie of the week made me cry. Read it on B.net - or read it here. But read it.
We're a little late - yesterday had a lot going on - but This Week at Bungie was posted last night on bungie.net (and locally, as usual), and if you're curious about the upcoming week, it's worth a read. Highlights include the next Iron Banner, Bungie's presence at Gamescom, and help from the Player Support Team. Check it out!
This week's update from Bungie contains fun stuff: details about Rise of Iron stuff at Game Informer, winners of last month's T-Shirt contest, troubleshooting tips, Elder Champions, and Movies of the Week. Go read it all! (And buy some of those amazing fan-designed shirts!) As usual, it's local, as well.
This week's update from Bungie covers some fun stuff - a spotlight on Stack-Up (an organization that ties together veterans and games), an update on some Bungie Foundation and Bungie Store tidbits, some tech support on the recent 2.3.1 update (and a heads-up for the 126.96.36.199 Hot Fix, rolled out today), along with favorites like Challenge of Elders high scores and fan movies. Go read! (It's local, too, of course.)
