That was fun, but... (Destiny)

A bit underwhelmed that Crimson Days is little more than a single playlist and a handful of bounties. Thought it would be similar to Festivus of the Lost, but once we knocked out all of the bounties, that was pretty much it (got our 2015 emotes, though).

Still satisfied with all these wonderful events made possible by the microtransactions? You sure seemed enthusiastic before! :-p

Indeed, Sammy got a dance that she loved, and I decided to buy $5 worth of silver yesterday because I'm happy with what's there. This is clearly one of Bungie's promised "smaller events", with SRL being one of the "mid-sized events".
My disappointment has little to do with what this event brings to the table in the wake of microtransaction-funded content, and more to do with the fact that it is actually just a playlist and small set of bounties that Bungie hyped up. I had the same disappointment with Inferno gametypes back in the days of paid DLC.

That said, Sammy and I had a lot of fun, and I love the Doubles elimination gametype (we're going to do more of it this evening, and throughout the week). As far as this event goes, I hope Crimson Doubles makes a return as a weekend playlist, but I am bummed that my expectation was that it would be an event similar to Festival of the Lost. That's entirely on me, though.
