Counterpoint: Skip. (Destiny)

I tend to like my reviews to be about the thing in question and not about the made up lives of five made up teenagers with attitudes. If the author wanted to use real world examples of how Destiny made him feel, he could have just used his own examples. Keeping track of these multiple fake characters and their little life stories and relationship problems was beyond annoying.

Was it different than the standard reviews that merely hit the standard review bullet points? Sure! Does different necessarily mean better? No. Not at all. In my opinion, you should skip the 7,000+ words of fake social situations and fake chat transcripts just read the Afterward. Or better yet, skip the whole self-indulgent slog all together and go read a good review like the one Polygon just put up. Gamesradar's was good as well.

Points taken. In truth, I graded the review on a curve having already listened to their podcast.

Glad to hear Polgon finished their review. Thanks for the link.
