To access the Nightfall & Weekly Heroic.. (Destiny)

.. Do all the Eris stuff, the last step will be the 3 Patrol Bounties she offers. Turn those in and you'll finally unlock the Nightfall and Weekly Heroic.

Can anyone actually verify on a console that does not have the DLC installed that these changes have taken place?

Or was this all just the assumption people made after seeing those items locked WITH the DLC installed because the story requirements weren't met?
