How about you get to use weapons on your sparrow? You shoot just like normal and have some kind of emp grenade with a cooldown just like your normal grenade. You also charge a super which can be sped up by killing enemies on the map or destroying a guardian on their sparrow. Not sure what the super would do exactly yet though. Perhaps if you were a titan you'd have some kind of area effect (think fist of havok except you don't move anywhere), if you were a warlock you'd get a nova bomb, and if you were a hunter you'd get a single-shot kill weapon for guardians in front of you.
