Is this not, in a way, a microtransaction? You're paying for timed buffs (buy as many as you want!) and earlier access to a story mission...

Surely that fits the bill...

Once again, imho I don't think it is. Just like the Nepal shirt, what you are buying isn't the extra level or experience boost, you are buying the Red bull drink and then you get the additions for free.
