Clarification: Re: Repeating to help someone else (Destiny)

If you're only running them again to help someone else get a reward, that's still a "reward" for doing the nightfall. I'm more curious about when you re-run them and no one involved is getting a reward. IE: it's purely for the joy of it. Why? What's your favorite? What's so fun about it?

Personally, I don't enjoy them and only do them to either get rewards for myself or to help others get rewards, but I can only think of the one situations (triple burns) when I actually had fun running them. Convince me I'm wrong!
