Are hand cannons significantly changed post-patch? (Destiny)
I've only done a little testing, but as far as I can tell they are pretty much the same post-patch. Anyone have any different results than this?
Going to do some testing with my finnala's peril tonight, I expect greatness. May or may not work out for me. ;)
I've barely done anything other than SRL since Tuesday, but I did use my Fatebringer during our VoG run. I was finding it easier to hit my targets. I'd say the reduced range (compared to year 1 hand cannons) is still very noticeable. I could only 1-shot the Vex goblins if I was hitting them from close range. For example, during the Templar battle, I used to be able to stand in front of the left Conflux and 1-shot the Goblins coming out of the door at the top of the stairs. This time I had to be standing half way up the staircase (next to hidden left Oracle) to have any hope of 1-shot killing them. But the accuracy feels on point again, which is a big improvement over the initial 2.0 changes.
