You may think this next trick is impossible... (Destiny)

Had a blast playing Trials with Slycrel and Peaksutah last night. We had moments of greatness, plenty of dysfunction, and we laughed the entire time. A few stand out moments:

Rocket Vs Orb

Any of the more inquisitive minds reading this may have at one time or another wondered to themselves "Can a rocket pass through a Guardian's revive orb?". Well Peaksutah has your answer. He took one for the team, for science, for death and glory:

Teamwork > Everything else

It's a common sentiment at this point: Teamwork in Trials is more important than anything else. Here's proof. I Rambo'd my way to five kills in a single round, but the enemy team thoroughly out maneuvered us.

Heavy Wrecking Ball

I've pulled off my share of Wrecking Ball medals, but this is my favorite:

Hopefully Slycrel recorded a clip of his insane wrecking ball too :)

SRL Fail

Recorded this a couple days ago. Right at the end of the most intense, neck-and-neck race I've had in Destiny. The entire pack had been all over each other for the whole race. Coming through the Teleporter on Venus, I was in 2nd place. But I was confident. I'd gained ground on the other drivers through the final turn of the race on the previous 2 laps. I was going to pass the guy in front of me and claim victory. I could taste it.

FML ;p

Dude, I had like 20 of those moments. Very competitive some races. Kind of pissed I never finished my record book, had 7 wins on mars and only 5 on venus. Oh well.

Unfortunately I did not get a clip of the triple-grenade kill. I swear I had gotten it, but the video that should've been there for that started the round after it. So not sure what happened there. :/ I think I had 3 wrecking ball rounds, but I apparently only saved 1 clip. I must get better at saving video.

Here's the runner-up though.

And here is my comedy of errors for cruel's 5 kill round.

Let's break it down for fun.
1. 2 missed shots at the top of the stairs.
2. Mistook ricochet for a person on my right.
3. hit the edge of a shelf with my grenade.
4. Shot at cruel randomly.
5. Hey, I got the rez!
6. Missed completely with the shotgun and died horribly.

I especially like the part where I randomly shoot cruel in the head. I was clearly delusional that game.

how did that ari45 hold up?

I'm curious how that ar did ? I have the slow firing variant and am deciding if I want to raise it up for ib.

It held up quite well (I managed to out-gun several Mida Multitools from outside the usual AR sweet spot). But mine has absolutely maxed stability, which helps a lot.

Nice :). I think I have the same roll :). I'll need to get a bit more infusion fodder, as I'd like to get a good scout rifle up to 290 at leastf
