Junior really wants to get better at ToO with the ultimate goal of going to the Lighthouse.

Would you and another lethal, experienced Trials player be willing to run with him and give him some pointers? He's pretty good at following directions, and he's getting better at playing smarter. He needs a Trials mentor who's much, much better than his old man.

I'd be more than happy to play some Trials with him at some point! I do have the game on Xbox One, but I'm nowhere near Trials-level yet. I just hit level 20, haven't even finished The Black Garden mission yet. But as soon as I do get a decent Trials build up and running, I'll be happy to help out any time :)

I'm certainly willing to help. Will have to work around the time zone disparity though, since I'm pretty sure you guys are Pacific, and I'm trying to avoid staying up so late to play Destiny.

The thing I got from watching this video that I know Junior could learn is to control the distance of the engagement. While Cruel's sniping was pretty impressive, he never got terribly close to the enemy either.

In particular, there's one round where Cruel flanks up the middle and heads to their spawn. The first enemy he sees is weak, without shields and he could have gotten closer, but instead you see him pause, throw a grenade and take him out from a distance. Small things like this add up to less opportunities for your opponents to get you.

This is a lesson I need to learn/relearn as well.

Almost got my first ever Mark of the Unbroken. Almost.

I'd like to say that one of the things I find most impressive about your vids is that you are using different weapons in almost all of them. I wish I were as flexible with my choice of tools. :)

Thanks! It's something I'm trying to get better at. I find I go through "moods" where a weapon really clicks with me for a few days, then I suddenly can't get into a groove with it so I try other guns until something else clicks. Finding the right combo of guns is big, too. I might do really well with Mida+Shotgun or Zhallo+Sniper, but not Mida+Sniper for some reason. It all comes down to the playstyle I slip into from 1 day to another.
