Do you have MLKJ day off? (Destiny)

by BeardFade ⌂, Portland, OR, Thursday, January 14, 2016, 20:42 (3477 days ago)

I've got the holiday off on Monday and am looking to play some Destiny during the day. I've made a FTB event for a raid, would love to try the Hard mode King's Fall for the first time, but I'm also interested in playing some Trials of Osiris on Monday, too.

Alternatively, Monday could be a great day to get some questlines done that require a fireteam. I know I need to do the Shield Brothers strike still for The Chaperone.

If you're on the Xbox One, let me know if you're interested in playing together on Monday.

For the rest of you, perhaps you can use this thread to setup your own MLKJ day gaming.

I'll do it. I'll be playing at my parents' house.

A civil rights activist, Martin Luther King Junior, got a national holiday in the US. It's not often observed by anything. Very few businesses are closed. Government things tend to be closed though.

Thanks :) Britbongs don't observe this.

For a while when I was younger I thought "MLK" day was actually "Milk" day. Took me a while to figure that one out.

Kid, this is The bomb disposal guy Civil Rights activist. He successfully employed Ghandi-tier nonviolent strategies and protests to win support for African-American civil rights within the most racist region of the US (The South), losing his life in the process.

Also, he helped give us this:
