Lookin' Good. (Destiny)

I've long played my three characters in line with their factions and backstories.

Tesni Jarmila, my big tough Awoken Titan, gave up on the Earth after journeying to it from the Reef following the collapse. Being stranded among tyrannical warlords and marauding aliens all doing their best to ensure their own destructions will do that to even the most optimistic...

Abner 4c6173746e616d65, my Exo Warlock, knows better than most the length and depth and despair and occasional hope that time can bring, having spent half a millennia working as untiring slave labor before his eventual death and reforging. His wisdom and eccentricity serve him well in the Future War Cult.

Then there's Natela Tamaya Murk. As an orphan of the last city before her before her untimely death at the hands of members of her own street gang, Natela has seen the worst of The Last City. But, having been resurrected just moments later by her Ghost and having outfitted and assisted by some of The City's legends, she's also seen what Humanity still has to offer. Whe's seen teamwork and leadership and courage win the day against impossible odds which is why she favors the New Monarchy:

Finally, I got her ship. She's the first of my characters to be (nearly) fully decked out in her faction gear and, yeah, she's lookin' good. :)

So glad you finally got the ship to complete your character!

Should have entered this into Levi's contest!

I'd love to see Levi draw a New Monarchy dude killing stuff from the ship. That's definitely one of the ships I want the most, but I'm 100% too lazy to flip faction allegiances.

I used to "specialize" my characters based on gear sets back in the House of Wolves days.

My Hunter was my Trials of Osiris specialist. Full Trials armor, shader, nameplate, and ship. She had the full set of Trials weapons, including all the Adept primaries (2 or 3 of each, with all the various elemental types).

My Titan was decked out with the full set of Iron Banner weapons and armor, etc.

My Warlock ran with the complete set of VoG gear.

Of course, all 3 characters had their own Fatebringer, Ice Breaker, and Gjallarhorn ;)

I never went as far as naming them or coming up with back stories, but I did enjoy the idea of their specializations being extensions of the kind of Guardians they were. My warlock was the explorer, trying to uncover the mysteries of the darkness. My Titan was concerned with the defence of the city above all else. And my Hunter was dedicated to perfecting her skills in combat against any and every possible foe.

I like Abner's "last name." : )

Agreed, that is a great surname

Great stuff! We have similar approaches, except my guardians know each other. My awoken warlock married my human huntress, and they've adopted a baby girl Titan Exo, because biology hasn't quite managed undead reproduction yet.

I'm holding on to Durga Gloves for sentimental reasons

I wish I had enough vault space to collect non-functional outfits.

I still have no DO ship :(
