EDIT: this idiom means you've been consistently good. In baseball, batters are often judged by their hit probability to 3 decimal places. The best batters have around a .300, but the decimal is omitted when speaking it. Batting a thousand would mean you hit every ball that comes to you. I don't know if this has made its way to other Anglophone countries or if there is a similar idiom in England.
