Guardian Theater is fun! (Destiny)
So, I've started poking through http://guardian.theater/ to see if anyone else loaded clips of my middling attempts at PVP. It's mostly people getting easy head shots, but I found one vs. some guys in Germany wondering how they died. I guess lag compensation kills us all :)
On my screen, I still had a full life bar and jumped over to punch the guy, only to die right after I hit him. But here is his perspective!

Of course, I was doing lots of punching on this map. People should remember to stop hardscoping!

Is it searching through the videos to find clips you are mentioned in the kill feed? Or your tag appears onscreen? Or just a video of a game you were in and maybe you'll catch a glimpse of yourself??
Wait... what is this?!
It will search for all the players in your recent games, then pull any of their videos where you appear in the feed. Its pretty cool.

Didn't Halo Reach have this built in?
I could be making things up, but I'm pretty sure there was a feature that could find photos/videos others had taken where your character appears in it.
Now I want to put up a Reach Fireteam Builder...

On the Destiny Settings, set chat audio to "Blended" or "Speakers". You also can't be in a Party.

Xbox doesn't have that feature yet for some reason. Definitely removes a lot of context from audio clips, but it's still great to be able to hear the team chatter.
And to be fair, 90% of my Hammer supers involve me apologizing and not killing anyone. Definitely starting to get better at it, though...

Yup. For some dumb reason, even if you have the mic on and audio set to speakers, the DVR feature does not record your own chat.
If you stream to Twitch using the built-in feature, you can enable the microphone, but then of course, those videos don't show up in all the places that DVR recordings do.
