Content Drought: What do YOU want/need to do still?

Since there seems to be a theme on the internet that Destiny is just completely out of content and there is nothing left to the game. I figured it would be good to ask what do other DBO members personally want or need to do still in the game.

My personal list of stuff to do includes the following:

-Finish TTK quests on my Warlock and Titan (including getting calcified fragments)
-RNG a Twilight Garrison
-Finish the Titan gunsmith quest for the Fabian Strategy
-Make it to the lighthouse.
-Finish wins on Rumble, Skirmish, Salvage and Doubles
-I'd like to do the refer-a-friend quests just for the sweet loot.
-Keep having fun playing with friends
-Finish buying all of the ships/sparrows
-Get all of the exotic cloaks on my hunter (other class items too if time permits)
-RNG the Crota Ships (seriously, how have I not gotten a single one yet)
-Flayer cloaks and other strike specific items.
-Git Gud with TLW

Obviously my list is very specific to what I want to do. But maybe there are some of you who want to do some of these also? Hopefully we can get some fireteam events or groups together for those who want to similar items still.

Complete Exotic Sword Quests (I'm at the Sunless Cell Strike for all three swords)
Finish Sleeper Simulant Quest (At the Fallen SABER strike)
Lighthouse (Pretty sure it will never happen, though)
git gud :)
Learn to have fun while I constantly get headshot killed in PvP (I seriously think my character must be one of those huge head NBA jam-like characters)

Obtain ToM, Black Spindle, Exotic Swords
Run hard mode challenges to get to 318+ light
Get better at the game so I don't feel like I'm holding everyone back.

Obviously my main objective is getting to a relevant light level on the off-chance that there is new content that requires high light levels to accomplish.

My main problem is Lost to Light tends to come up on nights that I work so I can't even attempt it at a normal time. It isn't a huge deal.

Just finished solo-ing the entire quest line and this helped me a ton. Apparently I grabbed almost zero of the fragments just laying around the Dreadnaught, but almost all of the other ones.

But it may be a while, still. My gaming time is more limited than ever. I finally finished Witcher 3, but couldn't help myself and just bought The Witness today on Steam, and I still want to play Gone Home.

I also got a code from MS for The Division beta this weekend, so I'm going to check that out, I think.

But when I get back to Destiny, my main focus is going to be running through TTK story content on my Titan, which I haven't touched since TTK (She's level 25 thanks to the Spark of Light), and get my Hunter up to snuff. She's been neglected as well.

I haven't obtained Touch of Malice, but I probably never will. I'll never got the required Calcified Fragments.

I would like to do the Court of Oryx some (I've still not done any Tier 3s). I also haven't used any Skyburner's codes or anything of that sort, so I've still not seen some of what the Dreadnaught has to offer.

I don't have an Exotic Sword, yet, but I'm in no hurry.

Flawless King's fall pretty much.

I would like a Jade Rabbit, but that seems to be a repeat of last year with the Hawkmoon.

I'd like to start getting some primary weapons above 310. I only have one currently. Let that sink in. I've only ever gotten ONE 310+ primary so far. But that's not a big deal at this point really.

Heh--no, I didn't forget(my 3-month is still sitting on the table-- I just wanted to make sure I had everything ready on my side, and also to synchronize an appropriate time where were both on. I had not seen you online recently, plus I actually had a vacation coming up(I'm out of town right now) and that obviously wouldn't go over very well if we spent that only week away. You'd probably die!

The things I haven't done but don't care about are:
- Beat the raid on hard mode (don't care)
- Beat the challenge modes (don't care)
- Level my two alts (don't care)
- Finish the Red Bull quest (low levels of cares)
- Finish my exotics collection (OCD me cares, other me doesn't)

The things I want to do but haven't done are:
- Get to the Lighthouse
- Get a Party Crasher +1 to drop that has rangefinder and other +range perks. I haven't even gotten one to drop.
- Get a 1kys with good perks to drop
- Get a fast speed pulse rifle with good perks
- Get a fast speed AR with good perks

Soooo... most of the things I want to do involve getting lucky with loot drops, and those are only to really facilitate the one thing I want to do but haven't been able to quite pull off yet. But I'm getting closer to every week...

The things I want to do but literally cannot do because "design" are:

I think the only thing I haven't done that I'm really interested in is getting the arc and solar exotic swords. Just got the void one recently and that's been fun.

Otherwise I mostly bum around legacy strikes looking for exotic drops (being between 300 and 310 on all 3 characters, that's currently an easy way for me to advance) and the rare legendary loot. Maybe I'm an unusual player, but I still like just running around the easy-mode strikes finding fun new ways to clear the rooms.

I really like that thing since they fixed the perk/buffed it. The boost when enemies are close is very noticeable now.

-Flayer cloaks and other strike specific items.

Some of those are pretty good, aside from just being interesting. The impact on Darkblade's Spite is ridiculous. I just got my first Imago Loop (decent roll!) a few days ago, and WOW. It feels like coming home, you know?

I play Destiny because I really enjoy it. As a casual gamer who loves FPS, I find the gameplay, art, music, and activity selections to be incredibly appealing. Add to the the ability to play with people I've met in this community, and it's a recipe for great entertainment when I have to the time to indulge. The only content that I really pine for is more story - or, better, more accessible story. The grimoire is just too disparate for me.

I doubt I will ever "finish" the game by doing or achieving every single thing to be done or achieved. I'm okay with that, even though I would like to do as much as I can - because it gets me more Destiny.

That said, here are the things that I would like to do if time allows:

• Finish Jolly Holliday quest
• Finish First Curse quest
• I have several Crucible quest lines that would be fun to finish
• Get good enough at Crucible to make Beardfade proud
• Calcified Fragments - pretty sure I only have 27 of these, but I really enjoy finding them. Someday....
• King's Fall Hard Mode
• An exotic sword would be fun
• Lighthouse would be fun... because it's another Destiny environment to enjoy

I'm still shocked this was never a part of Destiny. we get all of these cool ships but really never do a single thing with them besides have something pretty to look at in orbit filling time between things.

I was under the impression that there was a lot more planned regarding ships that was cut. After the initial ship acquisition, we'd gain additional ship parts to allow the ship to reach the moon. Then more quests to get the parts to reach Venus and then Mars. The original ships all seemed to be built from a common library of parts; I think the original plan was to allow us to customize our ships, adding and removing parts and shaders (purchased or awarded) to make each one unique. Perhaps in Destiny 2, Electric Boogaloo ...

Apparently fixing the hole in the middle has been a bug too great to be defeated. Clearly this would break the immersion of a mode dedicated to space flight. If only they could fix this, we would absolutely be shooting hive tombships from our fighters.
