Is anyone else wishing for CTF in Destiny? (Destiny)
I'm sort of begrudgingly starting to accept the lack of symmetrical maps in Destiny, I don't like it, but it is what it is.
That said, I'm finding myself seriously missing CTF -- big symmetrical maps, two-seater interceptors or spikes, places where snipers can shine, as well as shottie pros, etc…
No?

Yes.

Destiny needs 2Fort.

Yes!
We have the "neutral bomb" variation of ctf, but it's just not the same. Can you just imagine dropping into the center of a blood gulch base with a striker fist to take out the shotty defenders, grabbing the flag & getting the heck outta dodge?

a resounding YES
CTF was my preferred objective based gametype in Halo by far. The fighting back and forth and the ability to pick up the flag to continue on always made for intense matches.
Besides that, I'd love to see a swat variant or even team snipers.

Yes, but...
I loved CTF in Halo, but a huge part of that was the vehicles. Smaller infantry-based CTF never clicked with me quite the same way. If Destiny had a larger selection of vehicles with some larger objective maps, I'd be super excited for CTF. As things stand right now, I could take it or leave it.

Yes!
I never particularly cared for neutral bomb in Halo -- with the exception of Grifball of course!

Yes!
Forge and Custom games would make Destiny so much more enjoyable in general.
It'd be fun to have a relic and sword game type with goals similar to rift. crank up the speed, lower the gravity and have a blast.

Yes, and vehicle maps.

Obviously.

I also want vehicles very much, but I have some great memories of all person flag score chains.

Yes, and vehicle maps.
They'd have to add cool vehicles first. Still Destiny's biggest letdown for me. Sparrows are fun to zip around on, and Pikes are fun enough, but nothing comes close to the Warthog. Although, to be fair, I'm not sure anything ever will.
I really hope we get some new fun vehicles in the next big expansion or the sequel, whichever we end up getting, but I'm not holding my breath.

Hang 'Em High CTF was a blast and a particular favorite of my LAN group.
