
Matchmaking lag was worse tonight than last night for me (Destiny)
Anyone else feel this way? I even got clips of the worst offenses.
First clip: Striker Titan ground slams. My bullets deal zero damage. My teammate's hammer takes almost all of the striker's health down (how does it not kill him?) and then after running off screen, I am credited with a kill.
Second clip: I shotgun the titan at point blank, then melee him, and then he fully disappears, apparently to my right, since he then kills me and runs past my corpse, clearly having taken zero damage whatsoever.
Lots of really crappy lag tonight with players teleporting around. If anything it seemed worse than before since the enemy players didn't appear to be lagging out in the "classic" sense of running into walls. Instead they moved normally, but would teleport to the side, or fire several rounds at the same time, or just plain take zero damage while still dishing out the hurt on my and my teammates.
On top of that, about half of the games we joined tonight started with fewer than 6 players on each team. One game started 6v2, which was just ridiculous. I find it hard to believe that there are so few well connected players in my area playing Destiny that we can't fill a team for Iron Banner.
So I'm ready to declare shenanigans on improved connectivity in matchmaking.
