I just realized that pulling the left trigger while in my character screen shows the damage type for my weapons and subclass. I play on a projector and I guess I never have looked at the bottom right corner of the screen where it says that. I also notice that the damage symbols get brighter as I slowly pull the trigger. Has that always been there?

What other obvious things am I missing even though I've put hundreds of hours into playing?

I think it was implemented around the time TTK dropped...?

I was just pressing buttons in my menu waiting for people to get on the plates for Warpriest or something and rediscovered it.
