Normally I roll Voidwalker during Iron Banner, but this time around I decided to try a battle-spec Sunsinger and had quite a bit of fun. I started with self-res, but I eventually turned on Radiant Skin and was surprised at how much damage I could take while Radiance was active. I'm definitely doing some more of this. Put on some headphones and turn it up (lyrics most definitely NSFW). :)

I've been working on the subclass crucible banner quests and during the sunsinger one I kept igniting people and saying "You are already DEAD" in my best Fist of the Northstar impression.

I love the grenade throwing animation. For fusion grenades, the dialogue in my head is "A parting gift for you, so long!"

This last Iron Banner I ran as a sunbreaker titan with fusion grenades, armamentarium, max discipline, auto rifle with grenadier, and simmering flames. Once my super was up it was like running around in radiance the rest of the game. I was making it rain Get it Off medals.
My favorite times was when I would miss the first throw, then see them try to shotgun rush me. I would hop backwards, stick another one to their face, then jazz hands.
Pretty much how I always play Sunsinger.
Every time I used it in Crucible in year 1, I would always remark that Oprah had just joined the game.
I might have said that out loud a few times…

Agreed! I usually play hunter, but ran sunsinger during CD
It was like cheating (okay, I was also using Thorn and Praedith's Revenge, so it was a LOT like cheating), but damn... Fights I 100% would have lost as a hunter I could easily win.
