VoG as a raid hub (Destiny)

This is the problem, and why I was very careful to ask that it be made mechanically relavent. It's still the most fun thing to do in Destiny, but Destiny is already such a time vampire that it can be hard to convince other people to do things if there's no way character progression factors in.
I guess I don't understand what you mean by that, then. /:
