I am not a gamer, but I have always been a sci-fi/fantasy fan. I really loved the Halo universe. I have read some of the books and really enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of story Destiny brings to the table.

Welcome. That's fantastic. The fiction of the Halo universe was definitely a huge part of what kept me coming back to the series and it sounds like Bungie is dedicated to taking the breadth and scope of their universe building efforts to a whole other level with Destiny.
