The next point on the horizon is an update we’re cooking up for the Fall.

Just gimme SRL back, you meanies :(

There's lots of things they could be doing, that people have asked for, and that they haven't done. I don't know whether it's because they're saving it for the upcoming gap between this latest update and Destiny 2, or because they have some other reason.

They could stop weighting the daily story missions toward the most recent content and throw everything back into the mix.

They could put all existing strikes into the playlists instead of just the recent ones or the Taken variations of old ones.

They could take things that used to be special, limited, timed events and put them into a regular rotation-- SRL one week a month.

They could take some of the random special public events that are attached to various updates, and put them all into rotation. Right now we only get Taken invasions in all patrol zones-- no more Wolves, no more Blades of Crota. Is there any reason why these things can't come back, so that there's more variety?
