It was fun! I'd forgotten that Destiny was fun, so obsessed with collecting and grinding I'd become. But I had a blast - played PoE with BaghdadBean, ran the Nightfall and some strikes with Argent, and spent far too long organising my newly expanded museum/vault.

I didn't get any especially exciting drops, but there were a couple of nice moments of "Oh, a blue class item :( Oh! A 317 blue class item! :D" or similar.

A small QoL protip for any min/maxers - Tower Ghost (and maybe others) now shows a predictive number for the stats on a piece of armour at max light, so you can see how two items of vastly different Light compare to each other. I spent far too long sorting through and deleting junk. It was glorious.

It might be a bit hubric to dedicate a whole topic to "Hey guys I like the update", but I know I've been quite begative (and absent!) lately and thought I'd give my thoughts. If you're really (un)lucky I might even share my museum. I've already filled 90 of my armour slots!

I really have enjoyed this update quite a bit. Light on content, but they removed the small amount of aggravation I had from leveling up, which makes me not think about it nearly as much.

I have also been quite negative about Destiny lately, but I'm starting to get back into it as well. I'm engaging with it in a pretty good way, I think. After playing Dark Souls 3, I've been jumping into Destiny for a bit to relax. It's good comfort food! My first PS4 character is now at level 36. I'm just about through the main TTK story, only have Regicide left. I'm only up to Venus in the vanilla story. I'm eager to hit level 40 to start getting some worthwhile drops, but I'll get there by the end of the week, probably, and then I can finally see some of the stuff from this update.

Destiny is fun, and all the more so after taking a decently long break and engaging with it in a much more casual way.
