Wasting time on Destiny. (Destiny)

I got on at 11. Bluerunner wasn't there, ProbablyLast was late. Did the daily. At 11:30, we started COE with Disciple. Did it twice. Around 12 we did the nightfall twice. Around 12:45, midnight came on. We were all winding down to go to sleep, but I thought another COE run might be fun, then sleep. Disciple left. We got through those. Because of a comment about particular things holding back our light levels, we decided to quickly go do a CoO. We ended up using something like 5 antiquated runes a piece, running a few level twos, doing some threes with randoms. Around 2:30, we started going for levelling up Eris. At 3, we went for levelling up vanguard because we were bored of court of oryx.

We soon went to the tower to turn in all our crap. Levelled up Cryptarch like twice with the engrams, got Eris junk, got vanguard junk, dismantled about 5000 glimmer of engrams. Then we decided to go level up factions. We went to the reef and bought heavy ammo. Midnight signed off. I noticed I was less than a thousand from gunsmith rank 6.

At 4, I went on a gunsmith level up rampage and did all the week's guns.

At 4:30, we figured we might as well stay up for reset.

At 5, probablylast and I ran the COE and screwed around a bit. Just in time for me to drive fifty miles to the school for the morning.

Before Destiny, I would say Halo 2 was the best online game, but when it ended it usually just ended. Nothing was like "oh, I can just do this thing, too." No motivation. At 1 AM we'd say "I'm tired," and get off.

I like Destiny. Where my plan was to play for an hour then go to sleep to get up at five, I was able to just be up at five. It's pretty neat how the game gives you lots of different stuff to do.
