The question is, does it really matter. And to me, and most of us, I think no. But, if you've got plenty of strange coins and stuff and like the roll, buy the new ones. They're technically better.

That being said, the maxed out stat rolls are nigh inconsequential for normal gameplay, just for the most competitive or hard content.
