I did when I first got it...
It was pretty useless. Looks really neat, though!
But seriously, the Super buff isn't noticeable, and you rarely spawn with overshields, which don't last very long...

Pretty much what I was going to say. I don't have first hand experience with Trials, but I have tested The Stag in PvE and the boost to super recharge is VERY slight. I can't imagine it would be enough to make the deciding difference in Trials very often.
TBH I feel like that particular exotic could use a tweak. The main effect just isn't noticeable enough to matter, even in relatively-safe PvE.
