There was a reddit thread that linked to the trademark registered for Rise of Iron. So that's happening and real.
But on the same page are trademarks for toy vehicles. They are sparrows.

There used to be this thing called "Bungie humor". Something that has all but disappeared in the Destiny era.

I don't think it's the Destiny era. I think it's the current puritanical humorless era generally.
