From Ex-Bungie Mike Tupil. Liking the art direction, doesn't look too chaotic, and it looks fun! Especially as a huge fan of Long Night of Solace!

Really hope that this finds its way to PSVR...

A PS4 controller is already on the game's page as one of the recommended ways to play it. Space combat games are too few and far between (and often boring).

They did a really good job by adding the drums for the music. I was having serious Battle Star Galactica Flash backs. And I LOVED how they did space fighting in that show and it kinda reminds me of this too. Even the chaingun sounds of the space fighter.

A related note: C Paul Jonson leaves Bungie to work for...

I was a huge Rogue Squadron / Battlefront fan, so I'm just used to a certain level of speed in my Space combat games. I adored LNoS, but I did wish it was just a little bit faster :)

Gah...
Flying on a controller just feels wrong to me. After actually flying and running an Occulus Rift P51 sim with full controls I have a really hard time remembering buttons and bumpers. Just ask Tiger how awesome my docking in Elite is, half the time my feet try to move the rudders and nothing happens.

Anybody played it yet? I have a question
Where is it on the arcade to flight sim scale? I really like the feel of the flying in Reach because it's not incredibly involved, but still interesting. Curious if this is similar (somewhat more complicated is obviously fine), or if it's WAY more like a sim.

Much harder then Reach
Maybe it's just because I'm having trouble adapting to the controls after playing so much Elite, but I'm having a tough time. It's like flying a plane, but you have the ability to "drift" when holding down one of the shoulder buttons. There's no lateral movement or "trick rolls" to speak of.
Also, the game hangs for a solid few seconds when I transition from the title card into my ship, and it's crashed on me twice now. :(

I assume he's talking about the sort of things you can do in Banshee by hold "A" and a direction on the thumbstick. Barrel rolls and backflips and such. I don't actually remember Long Night of Solace all that well, but didn't the Sabre have similar moves?
