If you're coming to PAX (with or without tickets), we have lots of room. Free housing, a bus-ride away from downtown. (It's not SUPER close any more; the really convenient 16, that got us down there in 20 minutes, has been replaced with the 62, whose longer route now takes closer to 30 minutes... but hey, you're only doing that twice a day. :) )

Nah. Come on down! It's great. It's only miserable like 1:4.5 years, on average.

All kidding Aside, DragonCon only rarely requires you to go outside, unless you really like Whedon stuff and Doctor Who stuff — those tend to be at the hotels without the elevated connecting skywalks. (but if you REALLY like one you can just stay in that building.)

So, party at your place for everybody who couldn't go?

It's gotten to the point that if your aren't buying your ticket in the first five seconds your probably screwed.

Maybe I could go to Dragon-Con instead. I've always been interested but it's too far away. Though, come to think of it--Atlanta in the summer. Eek.

Been to DragonCon, can't go this year but plan to go next year- Highly recommend!

Tickets are easy to get, it's securing a host hotel room that is a problem, but if you're not a cosplayer or there to party that's a non-issue.
