Is that the Divide? *Rise of Iron spoilers* (Destiny)

That's interesting because it looks like the part of the wall that's completely destroyed is the part of the wall that you walk through during the first mission to the game. So, does this mean that the first mission doesn't exist anymore?

That area is instanced for the first mission, so it's possible if you played it again it would look like the old cosmodrome.

What I'm hoping is that it's a different spot, and maybe they've removed kill zones and/or the snow has provided a path to get there from your "birthplace." Perhaps you can still see it when you play the first mission or Silent Fang, but you can't get there. That whole in the wall might be inconsistent with the early narrative, though. Maybe it's just out of view.

It being a different spot seems important regardless. It should lead to a part of the Cosmodrome you haven't been, not the Divide. I'm imagining somewhere to the south of the Steppes or southeast of the Rocketyard.

I think it would be really cool to have different locations change depending on how progressed you guardian is. Defeated TTK? Is the Rise of Iron missions open to you? well that location has just changed to winter!
