A startup assembled a few years ago to try to bring folks a more highly secure mobile device on a customized/modified OS. They decided to call it the Turing Phone. They have been around for a few years it seems working on this device. They are finally shipping initial units to their earliest pre-orders. I just noticed their logo today displayed on their upcoming device. The logo looks just like the Tricorn to me. If I had that device, and the Turing Phone logo displayed on the homescreen background I would no doubt accidentally try to tap the logo to open the Destiny Companion application.

They split it in half so now it's totally different.

"We have the Tricorn. That's...that's stupid. They have that little line thing in the middle.

There's not ONE similarity between 'em, bro!"

It looks like vaporware

And not even good vaporware. Definitely doesn't pass the "sketchy tech" smell test, and ripping off the Destiny logo isn't helping them.

I wouldn't touch that with a 10-foot pole. :-\

Even the device is kind of unoriginal
