Moments of Triumph and Iron Banner (Destiny)
So, I finished off my Moments of Triumph last night. I'm pretty happy about that!
BUT! Man was I ever sucking it up in Iron Banner! I was struggling to even break a 0.5 kdr. I don't understand what was going on. Usually I'm bouncing around a 0.8-1.1 kdr. It made for a really frustrating night. It seemed like I couldn't hit anything. I was running with a couple people I don't normally play with (Kahzgul & friends), maybe I was just being matched up with people out of my league? I dunno. At the start of the summer my IB elo was 1005.69 with a kdr of 1.05, after last night my IB elo is 938.13 with a kdr of 0.47. :(
Anyway, lesson learned, when I'm having a bad night I should just run some strikes. ;-)
Thanks for playing w/ me & not giving me a hard time about dragging y'all down. :)

Congrats!
Also, Iron banner seems super tough these days. My k/d is wildly inconsistent, and we faced some super-coordinated teams last night, mostly comprised of PvP gods.
I don't think I'll attempt to complete "the mountain top" on my other characters, but locking those bounties behind such an incredibly long quest-line seems dumb.

Congrats!

Yeah, how do you make an Crucible accomplishment worthy to be called a Triumph and yet have it be something that most everyone could accomplish if they set their minds to it? I can see why Bungie chose to do it this way, but I think there could be a better way to have it feel like a most triumphant accomplishment without it being such drudgery.
BTW, I approve of Bungie's recent(ish) love of quotes from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Moments of Triumph and Iron Banner
Hey buddy, it was great to play with you! Congrats on finishing your moments of triumph!!!
Don't sweat having a rough night, it happens to all of us. We were also getting matched against some darn good teams there and we won the majority of our matches. The spawns got frustrating for me a few times, which held me back a bit, but generally we all did pretty well, I'd say. I'd hunt with you anytime, guardian!

Congrats! I screwed up...
I'm only missing the "A Sword Reforged" questline. Having only 9 sword kills in Crucible, I decided to equip one (gasp!) and go for Heavy (double gasp!) in Iron Banner. Surprisingly, I got five or six sword kills in one game. I felt pretty dang good about myself... Until I realized that I only have the quest on my Warlock, and I'm doing IB with my Hunter... Womp womp.

Congrats! I screwed up...
That's the step I was stuck on for the better part of the past year, but Mayhem worked pretty well to get it done (as well as the 100 PvP ability kills part).

Mayhem is love
Would have never completed the subclass quests if it weren't for Mayhem, let alone the whole Crucible questline

And Boosting!
