Some weirdo on Reddit discovered this and I wish I was that cool.

well they are a material that is different then the ground. I feel odd that no one else has noticed this.

Me too. I'm having a serious crisis wondering if the community, collectively, is really that dense. Or perhaps it wasn't always there?

Yeah, but should it be a "ding" sound? Why not the sound of a blob of jello splatting on the floor, or something similar to a bunch of wet concrete falling through a woodchipper, or that stock vehicle impact sound that's used in every video game and film ever? What is an engram, really?

I dunno if I'd describe it as a ding, more like a "tink." Like the sound of a coin hitting glass.

Yeah, but should it be a "ding" sound? . . . What is an engram, really?
I don't know about you, but the ones I have are really soft and squishy, like some sort of foam. I wouldn't expect a "ding" sound if I shot one . . .
