Just like when I try to go and use my other y1 weapons and realize that they were only good back then before all the weapon changes. Like when my allfate used to two burst kill.

Tried taking The Messenger into Crucible. Tears were shed. And I haven't touched Hawkmoon after Year 2 came out. Things should live on as happy memories...

Not the only things being lost in time with this game... Welcome to the age of ephemeral video games experiences.

In a way it's pretty cool. You get this feeling of "I was there when...", which helps build fond memories. And it's not exclusive to games that constantly evolve, since I had the same feeling trying to go back to Halo 2 before they shut it down, and realizing that it was an even more terrible game than I had remembered. I also tried playing the SNES version of The Lion King, but quickly realized that I'd never be able to beat it again.
