If they faced the same geometry & took the same path we did then I think they lost one to the drop, one or two in the abyss, one or two at the bridge, one in the thrallway, finally Eris was the last & never made it to the deathsinger.
Personally I think they didn't have the one direct path that we do and got lost down other corridors that we don't see.
And where are their bodies?

I remember reading some fan theory a while ago that they keep them in the lamps, and that somehow explains why the lamps overload when we get near. Makes about as much sense as anything else.

Praedyth is still technically alive somewhere in time, just not currently for us.
