Some Tips (Destiny)
Sniping isn't pointless, but it is certainly reduced in effectiveness. If you are working as a team, having one guy staying back and providing overwatch can work well. Typically however you want to be moving and cleaning up. The last person standing to pick up all the crests can make a boatload of points.
Shotgun warriors are also in trouble since they will often trade, leaving points for either team to clean up.
Also, grouping up invites all those big supers, so you don't want to be too close without a tether handy.
It looks like ARs get a range buff. Several times he was hitting at a fair distance and doing significant damage.
