Seriously, how are even some these kills? This is ridiculous. I snipe like a complete newb/fool compared to this. Running into someone who can snipe like this, I would totally understand why people would want snipers gone, too. If I ran against someone who sniped this well, I would be swearing the whole time and probably report them for cheating cause that's what it would seem like on my end. Also, some of my furniture would probably be broken at the end of the match.

I accept every single No Land Beyond kill there, but those with the Stillpiercer were pretty damn ridiculous.

Here's a summary then:

Triple kill, triple kill, quadruple kill, double kill, triple kill, repeat. Sometime the snipes are from the air.

Most times the snipes are within 5 frames of zooming in. There's a lot of sweeping shots too. I can feel my blood pressure rising as I type that.

Plus a few "shotgun snipes" (I think that's the term). CQB no-scope and then melee to finish them off.

There is no skill here, just people who've learned to abuse the auto aim mechanic. I almost wish Destiny dropped hitscan for snipers, added flight time and bullet drop.

There is something about Stillpiercer. Fast handling, and I suspect it has super-high aim assist or something, because it is MUCH easier to nail headshots than most snipers, at least for me. It's my preferred void sniper despite having mostly useless perks.

I mean, really, how is this a triple kill? You can clearly see the path of the shot; one is maybe barely a shoulder hit, and the third guy isn't even in the frame.

I think with that one, it's not really about "look how skilled I am," just the jaw-dropping fact that it happened at all. The title of the video is even pretty clearly saying it was luck.

Had to look up "hitscan". Can't say I disagree with you, I kind of think all bullets should be projectiles.

I get what you're saying; and yeah, if that happened to me, I'd absolutely take a video of it and share it with my friends! What frustrates me about it is that it's so glaringly displaying the flaws in Destiny's PvP code, and Cosmo is holding it up on the MoTW. To me, I can't but help read it as, "Hey look at what might happen to you in Trials when our netcode completely fails!"

I have enough frustration with the game not always doing what I'm trying to tell it to do, or behaving the way I expect it to. This was just salt in the wound. :-P

Two titans, actually. unnoudid, did you speed up that clip? I had to open it in Photoshop to see the frames.

You can just barely see the 2nd guy running up the stairs (or coming out from behind the box?):

It's like one of those old bad Westerns where the guy is supposed to be shot, but it's obviously just really bad acting.

I went straight from xboxdvr to imgur's vid to gif. Unless they sped it up themselves in the conversion process that was real-time. That sniper has snapshot on it.

Seeing the break down makes me chuckle though. extremely bad death acting on that players part :)

Firefly rarely kills an uninjured opponent. (It's happened occasionally for me, but usually it brings them down to 50 points or so, if they're close enough to the main target.)

It's really good about wiping out people who've been fighting for a bit, though. :)

Shines in PvE though. It often DOES kill full health enemies (with a hand cannon) and when it doesn't, it injures them all, making the second shot kill them all starting a chain reaction.

RIP Fatebringer, but the game was too easy with it.
