BungieOrg Xbox club. (Destiny)

Cross post from HBO

Heads up, Xbox Preview Program members can request to join the b.org club (search BungieOrg in the club area, no dots allowed for some reason). I kinda jumped the gun on it just to make sure someone responsible got it first. Wu if you want it deleted or whatever just let me know in here, but I'm pretty sure I can transfer ownership to you.

P.S. it says we play MCC and Destiny. I couldn't add H5 because I haven't played it nor do I intend to. I don't know if I make someone an admin if they can add H5, but they should if they can.

What's an Xbox club? Real question.

Halo's dead, don't worry about it.

Thing they're adding in a system update. Kinda like clans in Halo 2.

I don't worry about anything bruh.

It's kind of like the Groups that PS4 has, where you essentially have something akin to a subreddit that pertains to something that you like. Not quite a clan, since you can follow multiple groups, but say that you have a group where people like to Raid a lot, or you want to find people who are specifically into doing Trials. Stuff like that. You can chat, share screenshots, organize events. Neat stuff! Hopefully Xbox Clubs have a similar feature set.

You have to actually play a game to make a Group about it? Darn shame. How do you go about making a "Steven Universe Fans" Group then?

Maybe Halo 6 will be great, guys! This time for sure!

I can add Halo 5 if you like. I'm shocked you didn't include Reach.

(BTW, fixed my router issue.)

Has anyone tried the new built-in LFG feature? From the vids I've seen it looks pretty slick.

If anyone wants to extend an xbox preview invite, that would be cool too.

Yep basically you can do all of that. Weird for Xbox to be playing catch up with PS though, didn't know they already had it... I mean it was pretty shocking recently when I heard PS4 was adding appearing offline. Welcome to 2005 Sony.

Well no, you can make whatever you want. No need to add games to the list. But you apparently have to play a game to put it on the list.

I might. Watching korny's Sangheili Don't Surf video today made me really want to play. Still such a great video and map.

Glad to hear it, maybe we'll give campaign another go.

If you want I can invite you, though I don't think it's guaranteed you'll get in anymore, and even if you do it takes roughly a week.

That goes for anybody. Just message me on xbl (or unoudid seems to be doing it too) and I'll send you an invite.

I've used it. It's glorious, and works excellently; however there are a few very minor issues from my personal usage:

  • All LFG posts show as "Starting Now". I don't know if this means that eventually we can select a "start time" for our LFG post? That might be cool because it would be a little like the DBO fireteam builder
  • The post does not "expire", and since they all show "Starting Now" it is hard to tell if someone forgot about their LFG post and has a full party or not. It would be nice if once your party hits the goal it should be hidden from view (you can set a "Need x" value for the # of players you need)

Cool! Those issues sound like growing pains. (I hope.)
