Of course, the wave probably wouldn't have been as massive as it seems. Unless Fundament's moons were truly massive, many times that of our own, the combined gravitational force would not have elevated the metallic hydrogen sea by much, given the massive pressure it was under.
If I remember correctly, Fundament had like 70+ moons though... I don't know their size, but that is a shit ton of moons :-D
