The run was actually pretty easy and straightforward (weird to say, but we only faced one team that remotely challenged us the whole run - video below. It was surreal). There were two notable moments:

Thanks! I'll post an event at some point--I honestly don't know when, it's like asking when I'll want to kill myself--but I'll see what I can do.

To be honest, my hope is to do Trials of Osiris only once in my whole life. I'd like to see the Lighthouse, simply because I always enjoy social spaces and I've never seen it before; so mostly out of curiosities; but if not, so be it.

Either way, I only intend to excrete and soil my Campaign-namesake as briefly as possible, and hope to repress this bilious ordeal as soon as possible.

I'll try my best to help with the weapons I have, but I'll mostly be set on just murdering everyone.

Haha, right?! We got so lucky / that poor other team.

It's a shame there's no voice chat in the recording, because we were flipping out. Apparently the guy self-ressing reset the countdown to victory timer so they ended up going to orbit before the timer ran out, effectively forfeiting the match. In our run, that team was the only one that gave us any trouble at all. We did go to 4-4 with one other team, but that's because we were dicks and 1v3'd them for the first 3 rounds (they won 2 of those). I only had the one clutch all run, but there were two other times I was 3v1 and got it down to 1v1 before I eventually succumbed. My shotgun just doesn't shoot quickly enough sometimes.

I ran a card with some friends I haven't played with in quite awhile last night. We made it up to 7 wins and then got a loss on our card. We still needed to finish off a card for the bounty so we decided to be nice and helpful and throw the remaining games in order to let the other teams have an easier chance at the lighthouse.

Here's the message I got from one of the opponents.

I decided to just report the messages and then move on from there. I really wanted to say a few choice words back but decided against it.

Anyway, I ended up getting the blind perdition out of our run so I was happy with that.

I remember back when we carried Avateur to the Lighthouse, and he was droning on and on about how he had made this very mistake, and how his life was a bottomless cesspool of misery and hate, or something like that... Anyway, buy those Mercy boons!

I can't remember who I did this with in year 1. But we were going to do a warm up card and I didn't buy any boons. Made it to 8 wins and my other two teammates went to the lighthouse and I didn't :(

So just start a card with 2 friends and all of you suicide immediately. Twenty minutes later your RoI book achievement will be done.

That only happens to people who are reasonably competent in Trials.

To be fair, though, it seems I'm way better at Inferno Trials than regular Trials. Made it up to 7-0 this weekend.

What a waste of time, just play your best even if you are getting destroyed. Make the other team work for it!

If he really doesn't want to be there and would rather just get through it, it's definitely more time efficient to throw matches.

Protip: Dont force yourself to play. I like the Crucible and have Lighthouse'd plenty, but you still won't catch me dead in ToO any more. Not worth the stress to me. If you feel similarly don't put yourself through it. Just throw some games and get your book finished.

Even the one where Funk's internet died and you had to essentially 1v3 a team.

It was the darkest of times. There was no light to be seen for ages. Talk of a mystical Lighthouse persisted, but much like Halo 2, the Great Journey left Mercy behind. It was tragic. Then Korny, the savior, rose up and helped to vanquish the Darkness. Heroes rejoiced. The masses celebrated. And then Korny rode off into the sunset toward the PS4lands. Will he ever return to Xbox One? Who knows. His legend lives on.

I also wouldn't mind getting one of those cheating weapons and exacting some sweet revenge.
