I'll definitely buy one, but I don't think it'll move me away from my current one (Perfect Balance/High Caliber Rounds/Headseeker).

That's a great roll from the vendor, but I think Claude is right - High Caliber Rounds are probably the best thing to have in that middle column. HCR seems a bit broken with pulse rifles at the moment - each hit in the burst seems to cause a flinch, so it can really throw an opponent's aim off. Plus HCR can't roll on Grasp of Malok (similar archetype to the Dragon).
Appended magazine would be a nice alternative, though (it would make up for the magazine size lost to braced frame).

I'll for sure buy one of each of the weapons (pulse and machine gun)
I'm really hoping I can land a perfect balance/braced frame, high caliber round, counter balance version over the course of the next week.

okay, that's a nice change.
Not sure If I'll be replacing my Grasp of Malok yet, as it doesn't look like you can get reload perk AND counterbalance on the same Dragon.
