Yeah, totally fair - which is why I'm hoping that *this* is the last round of surprise and disappointment here. :-)

To be fair, this is the fourth time that PS4 has gotten a year of exclusive items in Destiny. I've been telling people to stop being surprised since The Dark Below, and you'd think The Taken King would have given them a hint, and yet, every single time you get people up in arms about it.

There were three times already that Microsoft could have "flipped" the exclusivity deal, but they apparently don't care enough, and likely won't all the way through D3.

Yeah, but it wasn't necessarily unreasonable to believe that the timed exclusivity agreements applied to all of the D1 cycle, and the D2 cycle could theoretically be different. It is now cemented and any thoughts that it will change in the coming years would now officially be unreasonable.
